Rain sensor question

I have a 2019 RAM 1500 Big Horn and it did not come with rain sensing windshield wipers. But during a recent windshield replacement it was discovered I have a windshield with a rain sensor. Could it be just a computer activation or will I need additional parts such as a new multifunction switch? OR is this just possible? The windshield was covered by insurance so I did have the original replaced with a mopar windshield with a rain sensor.

You probably don't have the rain sensor on your BH. I have the same one. The humidity sensor in the windshield isn't the same. But, if you do have it for some reason, you can enable it with AlfaODB. I replaced my humidity sensor with the one that has the rain sensor in it, and enabled it. It works perfectly.
