radio cuts out when I turn on Waze?

Just recently started to happen. I don't remember an up date but not sure. But I have the radio on working fine. When I select waze my radio cuts out. Now all i have to do is selected radio or media and it starts working again. Then I can pick car play again and everything works fine? Just wondering if it is just me?

It does it with Android Auto for me sometimes. It is like the assistant doesn't release. If I use the volume control, it uses the volume on the assistant. If I click the assistant button, and then cancel it it works fine. It seems to be something with the volume control of the phone when it is connected.

On and off here also. Most of the time just fine but sometimes barely audible.
