Hello there, so i currently have a 2020 ram 1500 with factory Hologens, and i upgraded them to the alpha Rex headlights, and i just recently installed the Tazer DT and for some reason after 10 of the headlights being on they start to smoke and smell like an electrical burn, ive went through all the settings on the Tazer DT and nothing seems to help, once I un marry it and remove it the smoke and smell stops, I know it’s not the reboot I’ve don’t it countless times, I’m just confused thank you

where is the smoke coming from?
if it's coming from the headlight area then you may need to program the ECU to "led headlights" because you may have sent too much current to the head lights.
if it's coming from inside then... maybe tazer DT is the issue.

sometimes tazer DT is the problem... my friend had tazer messing with his Jeep's ECU half way through a steep rutty downhill section and that was a very scary experience.

So I took the head lights out and it looks like a resistor but I have the option for led headlights off, b/c there designed for factory Hologens

looks like the resistor blew up but i could be wrong... im a bit cross eyed today after staring at the screen whole day.
if it's blown up, put in new resistor, set the setting for LED headlights, and try again?
