Hello, all. New to Forum. I'm looking into Alphaobd to make and change options to my 2021 1500 DT crew cab. Reading through the threads,I'm a little confused on what physical hardware is needed. I know I need the app and an android device and the OBDlink MX+. Where I'm not sure, is what I need for the SGW bypass. Some threads say I need an actual "module" that plugs into the vehicle, and other threads say I can use a SGW cable.... Just trying to get clarification on what I need for my particular vehicle. Thanks in advance.

You need the bypass cable. Amazon.com

You can use a cheaper interface module too. Amazon.com

Awesome! Thanks for the quick reply and recommendations!

Interesting.... The link shows 2 options... The vLinker MC BT3.0 cannot be delivered to CA, but the VLinker MC+ BLE4.0 can be shipped to CA.... Wondering if it makes a difference?
