question for you gurus. tune or not to tune

first. im skeptical because of the recall on cp4 even though it would be a very mimimal chance apparently that it could fail…(i know add fuel additives helps from what i am reading)
second is i have a spare ecu now do i have to get it copied to my truck or can i just use as is with the tune?
3rd those of you with tunes. any issues ?

I have the GDE tune. +45 HP, +80 ft/lbs torque, and +7-10% fuel Mileage.

I do have a spare PCM now, but I have not sent it to them to clone yet. Back in February,
I had the dealer reflash the PCM when I was in for other warranty work that over wrote
the tune. It was in September that I was able drive back to Detroit to get it reflashed.

With the CP4 recall, I don't know if they would do it again to have everything work with
the replacement pump. So i do want to have the PCM cloned before then.

yes im going for eco diesel of canada tune i think and thats what im afraid of havjng to retune for new fuel pump also
