Question for MFT owners

On the left, longer side of the MFT there is a detent at ~45 degrees so that it stays open but there does not appear to be one at 90 degrees so, when it's fully opened, it will not stay there if there is any wind. Is this is design issue or do I need to get it looked at? The right side works as expected.

I'll have to check mine and see, but I'm pretty sure there is a detent when opened fully.

Just checked mine. Both sides have a detent at 45 and 90 degrees. Hopefully just a small adjustment!

Thank you! I have passed this on to RAM care and will be taking it up with my dealer. I'm going to try to get it made into a service bulletin.

Try to have them find the root cause, instead of putting in 6-8 washers lol
