last 2 days I Plasti Dipped my Laramie wheels. I like the silver color of the wheel but hate the chrome insert. I can't keep it from getting nasty. It just don't clean up well. I even sealed my wheels with old school Adams spray can sealer that's been outlawed and they still look bad. So I layed down 4 coats of black followed by 2 light coats of silver metalizer. They came out way better than I had hoped.

Looks awesome, I plan on the same thing, but using DYC's new stuff (hyper dip). Def a good job there, they look fantastic.

They look great, I have never worked with Plasti Dip , how does it hold up?

Got to love plastidip! I have gone through many o cans! Looks great that metalizer can be difficult to work with, nicely done!

It holds up pretty good if you go thick like 5or more coats. They have a new product though that is super tough and will standup to just about anything!

wish i could get a shine on the Plasti-Dip to
match w my rims im gona do all my emblems anyone know if they have black not in Matte

They make a product called glossifier that adds shine. I don’t have much experience with it personally.

I have used glossifier multiple times over their standard black cans and I was able to get a glossy look. If I remember correctly I did 4 coats of black and 4 coats of the gloss and it came out great.

I have only ever used the gloss on emblems though, perhaps the small size contributed them looking more glossy.

Yeah the glossaries is super tough to get a glossy result. I have never had a good result from it.

thanks guys got two cans at Home Depot of the Glossifier will post pics later next week
