Yep. Classics don't have studs sticking out like the 5th gens do. Your truck has holes in the frame instead. Hopefully you got all the hardware you need with your boards.

If you got 5th gen boards, they won’t fit this truck
That’s a 4th gen, and as you are discovering, the board mounts are different
You might need to be creative to make it all work.
