I just bought my 2019 bighorn quad cab, and it has the level 2 equipment group, giving it the leather reclining rear seats. Problem is, even in the upright position, there is no reasonable leg room. With my 5'3" wife in the front passenger seat, my 13 year old cannot comfortably fit. In the closest position to the wheel I can comfortably sit and drive safely, there is a grand total of 6" between the front of the back seat and the back of the front seat. The middle seat is so close to the console, you cannot access the power outlet. This option should not have been available on the quad cab. Has anyone else had this problem or have a remedy? My brothers Porsche had more legroom in the backseat! Not sure what to do. I may swap the rest seats out, so if anyone has any practical tips for that, please let me know. Thanks!

I wondered if the first owner swapped the seats out. I just looked and build sheet says premium cloth seats

Those are 100% crew cab seats. You're still not going to have a ton of leg room with the quad cab, but you'll get more than that.

Someone swapped seats, and for what reason you would put those rear seats in a quad cab, I have no clue. As you said there is no room.

On that note, with a 13yo, they will never be comfortable in the back seat of a quad cab, even with the correct seats. Need to step up to a crew cab.

I mean it's a work truck for me and I have two family vehicles as well, so it's not that big of a deal for us, but I was a bit flabbergasted when I looked in the rear seat 😂

My guess: They wanted the leather seats in the front, and didn't want "different" seats in the back.

I'm wondering if the level 2 equipment group with leather has the same seats regardless of crew/quad cab? Or is there a leather option for the non reclining quad cab seats for level 2 equipment group? The questions are simply out of curiosity as I am probably going to replace these with regular cloth quad cab rear seat. I will have these seats for sale soon on classifieds if I find a decent replacement.

There was never a reclining seat option for the Bighorn, let alone a quad cab.

I don't think leather was ever an option in a big horn. I had a 2019 Big Horn Level 2 crew cab and it had cloth seats.

Yeah, closest you get is the Night edition or Built to Serve vinyl with cloth inserts.
