Does anyone on here have any recommendations about what kind of rear-facing child seat I can get for my 2020 Ram 1500 Quad Cab? The current car seat I have is too big to fit behind the driver or passenger seat, so I hooked it in to the rear middle seat. The Police Officer that inspected it for me said that middle seat is too short for the car seat's base. The front of the base hangs off the front of the seat by 6 inches (4 inches is apparently the acceptable limit).
Are there any car seats that you guys use that will safely fit in the rear middle seat of the quad cab? I will be taking my family on long trips and I don't want to have an unsafe setup for my 4 month old. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
