So, what you read in the title is that I am looking to buy either pickup truck, but I have a hard time choosing which. How do you guys find the ride comfort in each, and how would you compare them in on-road comfort? Tire or road noise when traveling on asphalt, off-road comfort. And so on,

Then I think it's important to add that the Laramie with the off-road package is a 2023 version and the Rebel is the 2021 version. And that as well, I will be using it daily (my daily car) and using it for driving on gravel roads and logging roads. Deep to very deep snow during the winter season up north, towing sometimes. And traveling longer distances both on and off-road, mainly on-road for road trips and such.

Please share how I could make my decision and your knowledge (of any kind). Excuse my English if it's hard to understand, it's my secondary language.

Rebel will give you a locking differential for your offroad needs and a pretty meaty all terrain tire. The 18” wheels give you more tire sidewall for taming bumps in the road. I was worried about the ride quality in the rebel before I test drove mine, but even with the 1” factory lift it rode as smooth as the Laramie I drove right before. The factory Goodyears will get loud after about 30K, but it’s not unbearable. Hope this helps.

i may be biased but i say go with Rebel.

the off-road group suspension is the roughly the same as Rebel (Rebel has yellow Bilsteins while Laramie is regular suspension with different springs, allegedly according to the factory build guide - Rebel can ride a bit more "sporty"), and has 18" wheels but laramie has 32" tires while Rebel has 33" tires (assuming the previous owner didn't put some high heels on it, see below)

The laramie has more chrome on the outside, whereas the Rebel has no chrome on outside.
The laramie has active grille shutter and the air dam, whereas the Rebel has none of those (less parts that can give you issues, especially when off pavement)

The Laramie will feel a bit more luxurious (ie, keyless & go, memory seats, leather seats, rear charging ports, standard 10 speakers sound system, ) whereas the Rebel will need to be optioned to get some of the luxurious items. If you can post vin or window stickers we can tell you which has what.

another note:
if you're open to changing out the tires (which you will want to go bigger - the Hemi doesn't care about going from stock size to 35s) and suspension (with Bilstein 5100s or Fox or Kings) and swap out the OE decorative skid plates, then Off-Road Group or not doesn't really matter. In that case, pick the one with less miles/ less engine hours/ less cost and use the savings to upgrade. The OE stuff is meh at best especially if you go off pavement.

(my daily/ desert running/ overlanding/ camping/ expedition Rebel, when i gotta commute 30+ minutes. other days I take my M3)

Don't have the ability to compare, but I unequivocally say I am quite pleased with the ride quality of my Rebel. Noise is not noticeable, but I would add it has the sound reduction in it. Those tires have a very aggressive look and perform quite well.

Again, can't say which is better, but I can say I love my Rebel.

I drive a 2023 Laramie "Night Edition" with the "Off Road Group" it has a rear locker in that package. Second set of tires went with Falken AT4's. Rides awesome the tires are quiet and grippy. Have only been a passenger in a Rebel with the Hemi. Rode just fine. I have 41,000 miles now no problems with the Hemi E-Torque or anything else. For some odd reason my 2023 came with "GT" resonators so it has a louder cold start but is "Road Quiet" I am adding the B2 "moderate level" muffler to almost get to the "GT" exhaust sound. Many 2023 Laramie's had the Fender Flares deleted as is the case on my 2023. Miss the flares had them on my 2020 Laramie. The AT4's do well here during our Minnesota Winters.

The off road package on the Laramie gives him locking differential as well.

it's possible i'm in the minority but i don't like red accents in the interior of the rebel. i have seen the rebel's without the red but if you like the red go for it. they are both nice trucks so just get the one you like the most. i don't think you will be disappointed either way you go.

Thanks a lot for your replies, I think I am starting to lean more towards the Rebel from all the information I've gotten. Cause as well, if the tires are too loud I could just change them. And maybe put on some acoustic glass on the windows to further reduce the sound, then it's just that I do not want to regret the choice I make if that makes sense.

The rebel I am looking at do not have the red accents interior I think at least, and I am all with you on not liking the red accents it's UGLY. But hey it's from person to person and their own preference,

believe it or not 5th gen rams already have acoustic glass

If you offroad 50% or more of the time...go with the Rebel. Less than 50% of the time...go with the Laramie. Both are nice though. Buuut, wasn't 2021 a problem year for Ram overall..?

I would say it's about 50/50 or 60% road, 40% off-road. As well thanks for letting me know that 2021 was a problem year for Ram,

just throw it out there, i happen to know a 2022 Hydro Blue Rebel (with LVL 2 and Rebel 12 - HK sound with 12" screen, 33gallon tank, and trailer brake control) that you can have for the right price lol
fully ready for offroading, camping, night runs, and even go all the way to Arctic Ocean again and you don't need anything else!
