I just bought a used RAM 3500 and yesterday I installed a Banks cold air intake. The instructions said to disconnect both negative battery cables before I started. When I finished the install, i was reconnecting the first cable and it sparked a little when connecting it. Then connected the other negative cable. Started the pickup up and it runs fine (great actually), but the power side steps did not deploy. I found that the F15 fuse was blown (the power side step fuse) so I replaced it. Still no side steps. Checked the fuse again and it was fine.
I have read in other posts that there is a setting in Uconnect to put them in auto or manual. I checked in Uconnect under the Safety and Driving Assistance settings and only have four settings and no side step setting. I am not sure what to do now. Any advise is much appreciated.
