Power Running Boards?

Ok so I talked to a few vendors looks like AMP was bought out by RealTruck .com . They’re now made in Mexico he said the last 6 they installed all had problems out of the box. He suggested going with the Rough Country boards.
the rough country's don't have a high weight capacity i seem to have seen that they are a little flimsy. i would just wait for the oem's

I just got the RC running boards installed yesterday on my 25' Rebel. Seems pretty good. Options are pretty limited for us currently

I've got the same RC board. Could you snap a pic of them stowed whenever you get a chance? Mine look like they're hanging a little low and I'd like to see another Rebel with the same boards to compare. Thanks in advance.

According to their website each side will support 660 pounds

Well, I finally decided against the RHO and pulled the trigger on a 2025 new Tungsten last Thursday. I love it very much so.

Purchasing a new Rebel X in a few days.. Is there anyone running the power OEM running boards?? Thanx
I have the OEM power running boards and they definitely have their days when they open really slow or sometimes not at all. I’ve sprayed the joints with silicone spray many times and recently replaced my battery with a Duralast Platinum which helped a little bit on cold days, but they’re still flaky here and there.

Thats a bummer to hear. I've got 159K miles on my 2019 with the Mopar PRB's and not a single issue. Knocking on wood. I do spray the mechanical joints but just occasionally. Temperature never seems to make a difference. Wonder if i'm just getting lucky so far. I do love them though. so does my 84yo dad.

I ran them on a 2019 Laramie, never had any issues whatsoever. I put 60000 plus miles on the truck traded it in for a 2023 with power running boards with no issues at all with 36000 miles..... Just traded it in for a 2025 Tungsten with PRB and would not have a Ram without them. You will love them. I live near Chillicothe, Ohio and had snow on them very much so in all I have owned it does not bother them one bit. Last

A friend of mine says that Amp is the manufacturer for the factory boards. Uncertain if that includes the new '25 boards.

My dealer (today, I just picked up my Rebel) said the cost was $3300 installed. That seems really high compared to some prices being quoted here.

I had amp on my 2019 and my dad had the Mopar on his 2019. They were completely different then, unless they changed. The Step, motors, finish, even how low they sit and the speed they go up and down were totally different
