Power running boards

So I could not, for whatever reason, order the factory power running boards When I ordered my 2020 laramie. However getting them installed at dealer next week and my question is has anyone addEd them afterwards and will they still be tied into the uconnect system as if you ordered it? I know they will work when you open and close the door but you are supposed to also control them from unconnect system. Thanks

I believe so, as long as the dealer adds the feature code to your truck.
