Hello everyone, I apologize if this was already discussed. I found bunch of discussions on motor or running board issues but didn’t find this one.
As many others here, I have an issue with my power running boards opening and closing very slow, and sometimes it is stuck in open position.
I disassembled it and removed the motor. When I removed the motor from the assembly there were little copper pieces where motor shaft connects to the running board. Those copper pieces came off damaged and I was wondering where I can get them.
I even don’t know how they are called. Below is a photo of one of the pieces.

Is it possible to replace this part with something else or 3D print it? I called local dealer that I was told that those parts are not sold separately, but only together with hinges. The hinges cost about $250 each.

Take the dimensions of the brass bushing, ID, OD and thickness and by them at McMaster-Carr. If else fails, I have a Brand new in the box running boards complete with all hardware and wiring for sale. Pickup in LA, CA, $850
