I'll add that to the pre-delivery checklist. Those who have this issue need to get to the dealer so FCA can be made aware of it and take corrective actions.I'm not so sure it is a design flaw. Might be an installation/alignment issue. I have the oem power running boards and mine are not doing that.

Found a major fault here, they’re scrapping the bottom of the cab and scratching the boards and the body, totally missing the rubber stopper
Agreed - mine do not touch either.Mine do not do that. They don't even touch when retracted. Time to hit up the dealer.
Agree. Low hanging fruit...Why do people automatically assume it’s a design flaw in everything they find or don’t understand how to properly operate?
