I am thinking of having my non-OEM running boards cleaned of the surface rust from being banged by car doors, etc. and then powder coated. Has anyone had this done?

Thanks,

Jim

Most places I checked were $200-$250 a board. Which is in the range of what I paid for mine.

I bought the 4" IONIC Curved Nerf Bars from RealTruck.com. Noticed a rust bubble starting to form and contacted them because IONIC is their brand & there's a 3-year warranty. They are sending me a replacement set. Depending on the size the cost is only around $200 total for a set and you could avoid the hassle of refinishing yours.
