This looks like its by stampede pass? That area is also fun in winter, but make sure you bring chains/boards (and maybe a winch).Another day of exploring endless "non-maintained" USFS roads in Snoqualmie National Forrest.

Thanks for the recommendation, I will check it out. Cle Elum lake at this of the year is awesome for drifting in the mud, but that is definitely something that requires a friend on a truck and a tow rope if you went too far. Winch doesn't help on a lake with no spots to connect it toThis looks like its by stampede pass? That area is also fun in winter, but make sure you bring chains/boards (and maybe a winch).

Ive been looking for new spots. If you are looking for some open driving, check out Cle Elum lake and Keechelus Lake (also near the pass). This time of year the lakes are 1/3 dried up leaving a ton of open space. Closer to Seattle, you can check out NF-9021 (near Olallie State park has some fun sections).

I really like these, I am just trying to decide how long I am going to keep the truck and is worth putting sliders on, How well does this work as a step to get into the truck? Will it work for the wife?White Knuckle sliders installed. Super happy with the outcome. Now I gotta get back out there next weekend.

If you zoom in you can see I added non-slip tape on the 4 step sections. My wife said, "It's not as good as the step, but I understand the functionality and it'll work." Stepping on round is not as comfortable as stepping on flat, but the tape helps a lot.I really like these, I am just trying to decide how long I am going to keep the truck and is worth putting sliders on, How well does this work as a step to get into the truck?
