Another day of exploring endless "non-maintained" USFS roads in Snoqualmie National Forrest.

This looks like its by stampede pass? That area is also fun in winter, but make sure you bring chains/boards (and maybe a winch).

Ive been looking for new spots. If you are looking for some open driving, check out Cle Elum lake and Keechelus Lake (also near the pass). This time of year the lakes are 1/3 dried up leaving a ton of open space. Closer to Seattle, you can check out NF-9021 (near Olallie State park has some fun sections).

Thanks for the recommendation, I will check it out. Cle Elum lake at this of the year is awesome for drifting in the mud, but that is definitely something that requires a friend on a truck and a tow rope if you went too far. Winch doesn't help on a lake with no spots to connect it to :)

Yes, that spot is close to Stampede Pass. Most of the spots that I've posted are on Stampede pass exit from I-90.

New tires are in (appointment to get them installed on Wed). Good news for those wondering, Toyo AT3 295/70-r18 fits in the spare slot (barely). I got it on a matching wheel so I can do 5 wheel rotations

I also now have a full size duratrac that's never been used FS if anyone in the PNW is interested. I'll post pics when the install is done. ADD bumper should be shipping this week. Though they have said that 3 weeks in a row

Tires are finally on. Bumper should be here in a week.

295/75r18 Toyo AT3 in Fuel Rebel wheels -12 offset

Minor rub and had to take off the factory “flap” and pull back the wheel liner

Real weight was more like 140, but definitely a big increase from the side steps.

White Knuckle sliders installed. Super happy with the outcome. Now I gotta get back out there next weekend.

I really like these, I am just trying to decide how long I am going to keep the truck and is worth putting sliders on, How well does this work as a step to get into the truck? Will it work for the wife?

If you zoom in you can see I added non-slip tape on the 4 step sections. My wife said, "It's not as good as the step, but I understand the functionality and it'll work." Stepping on round is not as comfortable as stepping on flat, but the tape helps a lot.

Laughed at "now it's complete." It'll never be complete as long as you hang around here.
