Calipers are painted with G2 Caliper paint (Tire Rack has the best price at $43). They are very durable (compared to Duplicolor caliper paint that start to chip after a year). I painted the calipers on my other vehicles and they are still holding after 5-6 + years (no chips, etc). Lockbox is from Tuffy (console insert). Easy install. I was considering the Locker Down version but couldn't justify their ridiculous price (more than double and $150 more if you want the electronic digital lock...just under $500). Tuffy was $145 and gives a little more storage space. I also didn't have to break off any tabs. The rubber mat still needs to be cut if you want to use it in the two compartments (no big deal). I like the lock box. I now have a place to lock up some items if I need to and I didn't have to spend a fortune for it.

An assortment of clean/dirty photos of my truck (black) and a second Rebel (silver) I picked up from Avis so my buddy and I could go off-roading together (y)

Note the discrepancy between the front license plates being on/off the trucks...serious design flaw from Ram that the front brackets are held on by the flimsiest little fasteners

That's the first thing I upgraded on mine, wouldn't want to loose my custom plates or my lightbar that I have mounted there:giggle:

Took the Rebel and the kids out on the beach yesterday. Probably our last true beach day for the season, had at least 100 yards between us and the next truck on either side, and it was gorgeous though a bit windy. Saw a few Minky's whales and tuna busting less than a half mile offshore. Kids and I had a blast. Sad to see summer coming to a close.

Awesome use of the truck with the family! I cringe at the thought of sand in my truck though. Great pics.

Don't be! Get the RAM rubber floor mats and you're covered for 75% of the sand you can possibly get in the truck. Wind was blowing directly offshore, so I kept the doors on the windward side closed. Make sure you vacuum out your truck as soon as you get home while the sand is still "sitting on top" of the fabric/upholstery. And of course I have a protocol for getting in and out of the truck while at the beach, to keep sand to a minimum.

If you look hard enough, will you find sand in my truck? Sure. But it's unavoidable if you want to use your truck as intended. Hell, in a few more months they're will be salt and sand on the roads themselves.

Use your Rebel! Just clean it like it deserves afterwards! LoL

Epic pics! Love that tent... what kind is it?

PS - best user name ever.
Thanks! It's a Rightline Gear, I have the Decked.com system in the bed. This one doesn't have the full floor liner. It works perfectly with the Decked. I threw an air matttress down on it and was Great!
