I'm considering putting an order in for a 1500 Express. Checking off the following boxes:
- 4x2
- CC with 6'4" box
- LSD
- 3.92 rear
- bed package

Plan is to lower the suspension, hence 4x2. Currently own '99 F250 7.3 4x4 with 6" lift, Dana front solid axle, etc. Great truck but looking to come down to earth with something new. Great reviews of-the Hurricane motor and IMO best styling currently available in any full size truck have me giving the new Ram serious consideration.

Having owned a number of 8th, 9th and SD Ford trucks I am a newb when it comes to Rams. If I'm off or missing something feel free to chime in.

Since you are ordering a truck, you might look into purchasing from Mark Dodge. They will save you a good deal of money. A lot of members here, including myself, have done so and the entire experience is very easy.

A couple of other things to consider are rear wheelhouse liners and 33 gallon fuel tank.

Didn’t see the 33 gal tank in the build sheet on the website. Would definitely prefer the larger tank. Thanks for the valuable advice

I’m in the greater Los Angeles area. Have an offer from local broker at $4k off MSRP. How does that stack up against what others are paying?

Lowered cc with a 6’4” bed will look a mile long, will be watching for pics!

Because of the bed size this will take 3-4 months for dealer to receive once the order is placed. Definitely will follow up with some pics

Contact Mark Dodge and speak with them to see what they can do. They are a bulk dealer and have incredible prices. I took the quote I received from them to three Ram dealers in my area and all three laughed in my face and told me that price was impossible. You can be placed in a pool of delivery drivers and when the best price comes up, have it shipped. They will explain all the details. I dealt with Sandi and Aaron during my purchase. Make sure and ask about any incentives and other offers that can be bundled. No harm in asking.
