I am looking into installing a plow on my 19 Rebel for next season, I was wondering if anyone has done so already and if they had to cut the front bumper and skid plates and how it looks with the modification, please post pics. Thank you all

Check your owners manual. While you can physically mount a plow, it may not be recommended by Ram and could effect drivetrain warranty

Don’t care about warranty, vehicle is out of warranty and I am a certified technician so have and always will do my own repairs, just looking at the options of plows out there for half ton pick ups and wondering how the mounts look on the Rebel and how much cutting will be involved.

I installed a 7ft BOSS HTX straight blade on my 2021 Rebel. It works great. I got the poly version so it only weighs 360lbs. Truck squats about an inch when you lift plow. Takes less than 5 minutes to hook up. Came standard with LED lights. They did have to cut the front skid plate, but it is barely noticeable. Be aware that you will lose the front tow hooks. I ran the plow connections through the left opening and made a blank to cover the right (Mopar says the tow hook covers will fit a Rebel, but they do not. Different shape. I ordered them…). I will post pictures when I am near my truck.

Is there a mount running back to the motor crossmember, or farther back? The concern early on with the DT is the crumple zone, which is behind the tow hooks, not supporting the push.

Plowed my driveway only with my Rebel, had to trim the skid plate a little.
