PLEASE HELP!

I have a 2020 1500 5.7l etorque with cold weather starting issues.

If the vehicle sits out in the cold (approx 0F and lower) I am unable to start the truck the next morning. Battery charge seems ok, but unconnected screen says “enter anti theft code”. A couple weeks ago this occurred for the third time and so I replaced the battery and all seemed ok. Now I’m in Manitoba fishing and it’s done it again with a 10 day old battery. The local dealership (Selkirk Chrysler) says they can’t help for 2 weeks - I’m supposed to go back home to Minnesota on Friday. I had Napa deliver a new battery, put it in - no help.

What procedure can I do to get up and running again? How can I get the anti theft code? Do I even need it?

Thanks!

Welcome aboard. Sorry to see that your first forum experience is regarding a major issue.

Others have had similar issues. Here is one such thread I found after doing a search. https://5thgenrams.com/community/threads/anti-theft-code-help.21868/

There are other threads around the interwebs of similar situations. Worst case, if other suggestions fail, you should be able to take proof of ownership into the dealer (and VIN) and get the code. They shouldn’t need to look at it with an appointment/service. At least, that is what others seem to have done.
