So I am thinking about ordering the RL 2" leveling kit with the UCAs and tophat spacer, then using the Bilstein 5100s to get the 3.5" that the RL SST kit provides. What is the best way to level out the rear? I haven't really been able to find a standalone rear spacer kit for these trucks. Also couldn't find much information on whether I can just use the ORP rear springs and it would raise the rear to what I need.
With the RL UCAs/spacer and bilsteins I would be in at around $700 (RL gives a 20% military discount). The new Rough Country forged UCAs look pretty stout, even better than the RLs and I can get those for $340 plus $250 for bilsteins is $600. Is there another tophat spacer for less than $100 I could go with to lower the price? Is there an advantage to the RL billet tophat spacer vs some of the other solid billet ones for $50? Not trying to cheap out and piece together a janky 3.5" lift, but I like the idea of the RL 3.5" kit with the added ride quality of the bilsteins. I know other people have used the SST kit with bilsteins, I just don't want to pay $1000 for a kit if I could get the same thing or better for $750.
