Is there a trick to get pictures uploaded?
It seems like the size was reduced to a very small amount and it makes me edit pictures 4-5 times each one reducing quality by 50% before I can upload them.

Is it possible to have the larger pictures downsized on the website?

I just checked and i'm able to upload regular size files now again.
I wonder if changes or something was going on in the backend beats me.

I have the same question as the OP. Newbie here and I was wondering what the file size limit is or what a fella has to do to get their file size upload un-nerfed.

Thanks!

I figured it out as well. Not sure of the max file upload size limit, but my last few pics were around 900kb.

For my full frame camera I used 1000 pixels long edge in post processing which worked well for embeds and got them to a good file size.
