Picked up my big horn north edition today, when going over the truck with the sales guy we noticed that only the driver side dome light goes on when the doors are open. I also noticed that the park assist sensors don't seem to go off. I pulled it all the way up to my garage and not a single noise. The salesman who went over the truck with me told me to call Monday as the service department isn't open today. I am also worried that the hill decent might not work either, I am about to go test it out.

Sadly it makes you wonder who did the PDI on that truck, unless you took it right after they pulled it off the trailer ?

I am not sure how long it had been on the lot, it had about 20 miles on it when I test drove it and they had it for a week before I picked it up. they installed rear liners on it for me too. other than all of these features that I paid extra money for the car has been a blast to drive :)

Well the blessing is the dealership will be open tomorrow and I’m sure those issues will be addressed.

it turns out I am just being paranoid and I wasn't getting close enough for the sensors to go off. I am not willing to test the park assist braking. the hill descent works as well. so it appears to be only the passenger dome light. which turns on with the individual switch but not with the door or the dome switch. so probably just a loose connector. is the dimmer next to the cluster light dimmer for the dome? if it is that doesn't appear to work which must be related to the dome light issue I am having.

Hmmm I’d have to go out and play with the switches, I always forget  I usually sit in the car for an hour or two with the manual and mess with everything (and obviously I forget anyway).

Separately, make sure you go file for this additional rebate. Everyone qualifies. Seems like they have been having problems with vin numbers being in the system so you have to call them so they send you the actual app. Do it within 90 days of purchase. Many of us have already received our checks. No strings attached.

That switch is to adjust the ambient lighting, which does not come on if the cluster light is all the way up. Plus, in the Big Horn, the only ambient lighting is just above the center console, so it’s hard to even notice. Higher trim levels have ambient lighting in the door panels and above the upper glove box I believe.
