PERAGON cover: For those with it, how did you install the tailgate seal?

Installed my peragon tonight. Everything went perfectly. However, I'm not sure how to navigate the tailgate seal due to the bumpers on the bed? For those with it, did you just cut and install the weatherstrip above and bumpers? I've attached a photo re: what I'm seeing: 34829

Had one on my f250 could never get it to line up properly lock busted after a 2 to 3 months the roller wheels get dust in the rollers etc... price point is great utjust just becarefull not to get any of the panels bent.

I think I may have miss aligned or bent one of the panels by accident but I mean if you have a truck u have a truck. We go play in the desert and I use my truck as a truck.

Now I have a diamond back its pricier but 0 issues had one on my 1500 now have 1 on my pw.

Peragon did reply to my email at 8:00p on a saturday night over labor day weekend explaining that I simply need to install the seals above and below the bumpers. Love that kind of follow up!

LimitedGRR, I currently have a Paragon cover on my 2019 Ram Rebel...

Actually, it's the SAME cover that was on my 2012 Ram 1500 Express and then transferred onto my 2015 Sport. Yes, it is almost 8 years old, been on 3 trucks and still works/looks just fine.

The only issue/complaint I've ever had was it will leak a bit when it rains. I did purchase the tail gate seal when I first installed it on my 2012 Ram. I ended up trashing it because it got torn from moving things in and out of the truck. Honestly, that might be why my bed gets a little water in it during a good rain. You'll probably end up doing the same.

Make sure your lock cover is seated to keep water from getting in it. This is especially important in the winter months. I spray it with some dry graphite on occasion to keep it tip-top. Again, never had an issue with the locking mechanism.

Other than that, it's been a very reliable bed cover for my 8 years of ownership.

Hope this helps!(y)

Color matched Paragon on mine and have had no problems. Damaged one of the side rails,(my bad), and had another one color matched and shipped in a couple of weeks. That's just one of the reasons I went with Paragon. Damage a panel or part, and replace it, not the whole cover.
Cover operates lawlessly, but does have a few water leaks at the car wash. But then, I use the wand, never the drive thru.
