Panoramic Sunroof Tilt

This is my first Ram and I’m curious if I am missing something with the tilt on my sunroof. It seems to me that it doesn’t open/tilt enough. This is also my first panoramic sunroof. Does everyone else open as much? Or open more?

That's all it does. It's just for ventilation.

I really enjoyed the pano roof in that position when I took a recent road trip. If you open the back window slider and put the pano in the vent position and keep all your windows rolled up, it really pulls through a nice breeze without all of the highway noise.

The sliding portion, yes. Obviously the front half only.

Doesn't really need to open more. It's just to vent air. Works great in summer when trying to cool off interior with A/C.

Even more disappointing is you can’t adjust the shade to block the heat of the sun when vented. In my other vehicles, you can open the roof to vent and close the shade so that it is open only a couple inches. This allows the car to vent some heat while reducing the sun’s radiant heat while parked.

I've never tried to cover more than 1/2 the sunroof when venting - I was surprised it let me do 1/2! My previous car would not allow the cover at all if any of the sunroof was open
I also have the sunroof ceramic tinted.... barely feel any heat coming from those panels now!
