I was doing a full paint correction on my truck today and found something that won't go away. I saw it when I took delivery, but it appeared to be a minor scratch and I thought just water spots. I took the buffer and some compound to the scratch and saw that most of it came out, so I figured today I would complete the job. I went over the scratch multiple times to remove it, but when I reviewed my work, I saw these marks. I compounded the area 3x and the marks are still there.
Do you guys think that a light wet sanding might remove these, or does it look like a paint defect? You can't see them unless you're down low, that's why I didn't know they were still there. I don't think I want to deal with a repainted door, so I might just have to live with it if I can't remove them.
