I am in the same predicament - tappd a plastic-covered parking pole at Circle-K and created a small dent which can be seen in theis photo.I have a 2021 built to serve. I damaged the front bumper and I'm trying to figure out the paint code. It's not body color, it's more like a satin black
I'm sure you have insurance, use it.I am in the same predicament - tappd a plastic-covered parking pole at Circle-K and created a small dent which can be seen in theis photo.
I ordered a replacement bumber cover from eBay (complete junk and not power coated as was described, and thinner metal than the OEM).
So now what? Hmmm
Ins deductible is not going to be pleasant though. I wouldn't use ins for such a small ding. Take bumper off, dolly the ding out, live with a tiny leftover scratch. It's just going to get scratched again at some point.I'm sure you have insurance, use it.
Or go aftermarket off road bumper for better protection.
Depends on your insurance. If you use high deductibles to try and reduce premiums, that's on you. I like to keep mine affordable for when it's neededIns deductible is not going to be pleasant though. most people have at least a $500 deductible.. not worth $500 for such a small ding. And chances are you will probably get another ding in a bumper over the life of the vehicle. Plus whatever increase in your premium they might hit you with. That's why people don't generally put claims in for bumper dings.Depends on your insurance. OP was obviously looking to get it fixed, or bumper replaced . A new bumper is well over $1000. And that would be a comprehensive claim. Most insurance companies don't hold those against you.
