My new to me 2022 1500 5.7 non e-torque popped a p219a code on my scanner. Truck has 33100 miles. Didn’t feel any change in performance or hear any abnormal engine sound related. I cleared it and it hasn’t come back yet within 15 miles of highway driving. I use regular 87 octane not sure if it’ll set that specific code. Should I bring it in for warranty or try higher octane fuel? Don’t want to get a loaner from dealer unless necessary

many run 87 the manual recommends 89. i ran 87 and on hot day's i could hear knock under load that being said i don't think octane is your issue but i would not run anything lower than 89.
any ticking? worst case is bad lifter and that will suck but it would/should be covered under warrantee

So no ticking or engine noise that I hear. Im very OCD with my engines between stock ones and built engines I’ve raced and maintained. I’ll double check for any noises later tonight when I head out. I’m hoping it’s not a lifter issue yet with such low miles but it happens. If the light comes back I’ll have to make an appointment with the dealer.
