I would like to just step up to the rebel size tire on my bighorn. I have 1.5 inch level kit.
My question is General has the only p series tires in this size. Any thoughts on these? If I step up to a LT tire for more options will ride quality be lost?
What air pressure would you run in them?
TPMS issues with different air pressure?

Thanks for any help

You are correct, one of the worst problems for 18” upsizing. I went with michelin ltx, and heavier tire cuts mpg, rides slightly stiffer, but you get used to it. Am probably at 36 psi, although I should go lower. I don’t think my tire light comes on until 29? Adjustable at dealer or tazer, etc. The ATX might be nice if you can use an all terrain. Let us know what you choose.

This is discussed in many threads, some titled for this topic. I plan to get 20” takeoffs to get all those P and C range tire choices.

Thanks for the response. Will get back. I will look into the 20" as well

Nitto just released a D rated tire in 275/70/18 in the Grappler G3 which is a new offering from them. They offer the same size in E rated also.
The D rated tire only weighs 46 pounds and the E rated at just 52.
The stock Duratracs are E rated and ride surprisingly well at 50/40 air pressures but they’re heavy and a little too noisy for me.

Thank you for the information. I will check these out as well
