Have a 2025 Ram 1500 Laramie new since November. It reads at least 8 to 10 degrees higher than normal temperature most of the time regardless of whether it sits outside or not. I took it back to the dealer and they argued that temps vary depending on where it's taken. They said they thought the sensor was located behind the grill. All of the other vehicles I've had are usually within a couple degrees and normalize quickly once on the road. The other day, sitting outside for a couple hours in the sun, the truck temp reading was 98 and actual outside temp was 68. Very frustrating. I couldn't find any recent posts, since 2023, on the subject. Sounds like this has been an ongoing issue. Was wondering if anything new has been done officially to correct the problem.
