Hey all,
Just wanted to say hey. After being an f-150 guy for multiple trucks, I finally moved over to the dark side. I had a lot of issues with my 2019 with the 3.5 ecoboost so last night I picked up a 2019 longhorn. It’s a pretty well optioned truck and should be perfect for what I am using it for . If your around Raleigh NC, feel free to say hey as I’m always up for learning about a new vehicle.

Welcome!Hope the Ram serves you well. They are really nice trucks, but none of them is perfect.

What issues with your previous 3.5 EcoBoost drove you away from Ford?
.

I had the motor opened up twice for the cam phasers, the screen had to be replaced, the turn signal switches needed to be replaced multiple times, the front and rear suspension was replaced, the rear hubs were replaced and they couldn’t figure out the rear end noise issues.

Welcome, and congrats!

Wow! Thanks for the feedback. I can see why you decided to give Ram a try. I'm fortunate that my 2020 Longhorn has been absolutely flawless, I hope your Ram lives up to your expectations. Best of luck to you.

I have high hopes. I actually broke even with my trade in as far as financing, dropped my payments by a couple Hundred per month, has 10,000 less miles and added 40,000 miles to the warranty. It was the dealerships service managers personal truck and is spotless. He lives near my parents and gave me his personal number and went through the whole truck with me, I’m very happy with it.

That's perfect! Having a good relationship with the service manager is probably worth more than the truck itself being a good truck. Seems like maybe you got a unicorn deal 👍

Went and rode SR 105 in western NC this weekend. My girlfriend got a couple decent pictures of the truck

Nice Big Horn. Not a Longhorn. Gotta love Granite.
