Ottocast connects to iphone after enging jas been shutoff

I have a aftermatkey wireless catplay device to connect my iphone to carplay.
The device continues to connect to my iphone even after the truck has ben shut off. This interferes with my iphone wifi connectivity
Any suggestions to disconnect the iphone from wireless carplay after the truck has been shutoff.

The Carplay adapter will still have power for up to one hour after you shut the truck off. Meaning your phone will still connect to it. Either unplug the adapter when shutting the truck off, or go into your phones wifi settings and manually disconnect from the adapter.
