I ordered my truck Oct 10 2022. At that time Bighorn Level 2 came with 8.4 uconn screen. Now the level 2 group includes the 12 inch screen! 😪

I just saw someone post that they got a Big Horn in October, I think. He said that at that time you couldn't even get a 12 in a Laramie, which should be standard. They had shortages.

I think I'm happy with the 8.4. Watching you tunbes, there seem to be more complaints with glitches on 12 inch.

Mine is a UC5, per lvl 2 pkg, but are you saying a UC5 could be either 8.4 or 12 screen?

There was a, I forget exactly, but very close to $750 difference between packages. It's actually called "Bighorn Level B" group now, it was "Bighorn Level 2" package when I ordered mine.
That 12 screen shortage does make sense.
Upon ordering in Oct of '22 my dealer could give me absolutely no idea of a delivery time frame. Back then you could not "build" a '23 model year online yet. Only dealer could make a '23 order.
Then to everyone's surprise my truck was delivered on Dec 20 '22.

Yes, both were upgraded to UC5, as far as I know. UC5 first appeared in 21 Durangos with 10" screen, but I believe they have all been upgraded to new hardware.

Screen size doesn't matter.

2019-2021 have UC4.
2022 and above have UC5.
It's kind of like comparing Windows 7 to Windows 10.

UC5 has been riddled with bugs, but lots of people include myself use it fine.

I have no problem with my 8.4 screen...most of the time you aren't looking at it anyway. Don't let that get you down

I was just looking at online dealer inventory. There are some Bighorns showing Bighorn Level 2 group with UC5 and 8.4, while most are showing Bighorn Level B group with the UC5NAV 12" screen.

I'm pretty bummed you cant get the 8.4" screen in anything but a base BH or Tradesmen anymore. I love buttons!
