I was weighting getting a used limited before i made my purchase and this is what came to mind. You can easiy get 8K of new sticker price that would bring that truck down to 45k new. then you can get 0% for 84 months. now plug $35k into your calculator with apr for a used truck for lets say 72 months and see where where a comparable new truck will cost.

If that was a fleet sale it should've been a good discount. Not sure where blue book is these days but the word is used vehicle values have tanked.

I think FCA's 0%/84mo incentive lapses May 4. I bet better incentives are coming shortly.

I agree with you, but dealers around me haven’t been doing much for me the past month. They want to offer rebates or financing, not both. That’s both gmc and ram dealers. I haven’t been having much luck during this pandemic. I was debating waiting for the next round of rebates, but my optimism is fading.

have you used sites like true car to compare against a similarly equipped new truck. seems like for a big horn you could get close to that price on a new one to me

I have. I was taking the 4x4 and the led package into account. Looking at the msrp on the window sticker and doing the math. Its also difficult to distinguish what people on here are actually paying for their new trucks and which are tall tales. I have no clue how people are getting 25%+ off or rebates plus 0% financing. Locally, I’m looking at 40-42 at least if not a little more for a new big horn similarly equipped and that’s with my own credit union financing. I am kind of telling myself to wait for a better rebate to come along via this pandemic, however, truck shopping has never really left me with any optimism. Sticking to my guns for a good price has never really proven fruitful. I know the game, I’m good with the numbers, just can’t get these guys to crack

If you are looking new, good luck if you dont work for FCA. The desls on CPO are out there. I know Anderson or Richmond Indiana had another 2019 Limkited CPO for sale with 21k miles for $41k.....that was without dickering. Vehicles are a depreciating asset, why would you want to take that hit?
