One of my door handles is not like the other.

I'm now 1 month and 2,000mi in and I'm just noticing the passenger door handle trim piece is sticking out. I can push it in and it pops back out, any suggestions?

I bought from MD, which is 800mi away, I'm not really sure about taking it to a random Ram dealership? Not to mention, I do my own work, I really hate to have my truck in the shop for days over something so dumb, but now it freaking bothers me.

Knowing how things go, it's not going to get better on its own, I feel like it's eventually just going to come off completely.

I'll have to look. I guess there is no good solution.

I'm either taking the door panel off of a 1-month old truck, or I'm waiting 3 days for a tech to take a door panel off a 1-month old truck.

It's not very hard to take that piece off or put on. Door panel doesn't need to come off.

There isn't much to it. Turn the retaining screw, don't get crazy on it.

Nice, I'll check it out when I get home. I know I have a T-20 driver.

I also found the video below. Despite the video showing the interior trim removed, it's clear that they didn't need to remove the trim to get the outside handle off:
