Here are my old and new rams. I kept my 2012 ram because it treated me so well with now 320K km. My son is turning of driving age so he has his eye on it.
The issue is the 2012 white dodge just fits in the garage. After buying my black 2020 I quickly learned it's to long to fit in the garage. 4" to big. I didnt know they made it bigger. Guess the days of cleaning the truck in the garage on those winter days are done for me.20200118_154318.jpg20200118_153617.jpg

Yes my 4th used to fit fully in my garage, this 5th doesn’t even come close lol.56D66962-2DF0-452E-8D29-65F683BEDB68.jpeg

What exactly did they make bigger?

Larger cab and longer wheelbase as far as I’m aware.

My 2019 Ram is 3" wider and 8" longer than my 2001 Dodge 1500. That is without considering the mirrors. It makes backing down my driveway a lot more difficult.

Hmmmm. Now I have to compare the width on both trucks.

4 inches longer and wider. I had to frame out the end of my garage where my attached storage shed was now the truck fits lol

Mine fits but it's a lot tighter and trickier than it was with the Titan so I don't bother; I just leave it in the parking spot at the end of my driveway. If I ever move I'm building a garage that's at least 26-27 feet long. I'm also considering building a second garage at the end of my driveway to house the truck & my play car.
