This has to be really, really embarrassing for RAM. I have a 2022 MODEL YEAR RAM 1500 BIG HORN CREW CAB 4X4

No where in the Owners Manual can I find out how often to change the oil or what kind of oil to use. Does anyone know?

And it looks like they are relying on the oil indicator light to tell you when to change it. I change mine at least every 5,000-6,000 miles

It is in the manual, but the truck has oil change life, in the dash display. That is maximum life, I would change a little more often. Oil type is in the manual, but also on the oil cap. Oil type is under technical specs, page 396 for 23.

From page 393 of 2022 owners manual:

Under no circumstances should oil change intervals exceed 10,000 miles (16,000 km), 12 months or 350 hours of engine run time, whichever comes first. The 350 hours of engine run or idle time is generally only a concern for fleet customers.

We also don't know what engine you have, which would change the oil amount and filter.

I change my oil at 5k/1 year on everything I own. The RAM schedule says maintenance every 10k but I wouldn't push it that far.

2022s use 0w20.
Change at least once a year, and the mileage depends. You can send your out used oil to Blackstone labs to find out how long you can go.
When I change oil around 6-8k there always seems to be life left in it. I use mobile 1 AFM 0w20.

Don't go by the dumb computer on your screen that shows a %.
