Oil change?

Hey guys at what mileage does the light come on for a oil change on a 19 rebel?

It's based on how it's used (short trips v longer, etc.). Between 8 and 10K miles for most.

As mentioned, it varies depending on you driving style, but if you have a less severe driving profile you can expect about 10,000 miles. Heavily severe down to 3,800 miles. As GRB60 mentioned, the majority of us around 8,000 - 10,000 miles. I'm at around 6,700 miles with a heavier stop/go driving breakdown.

Never seen an engine fail because the oil was changed too frequently. Every 5k miles for me (will full synthetic) unless severe duty like heavy towing, etc.

I brought mine in last week for an oil change, tire rotation, etc., at 7,500 miles..."Oil Life" was at 25%.
