I’m curious what is the overall consensus on oil for the 2020 and docs diesel filters vs others

Anything that's MS12991 rated. Pennzoil, quaker state, and Castrol all make easily available oils.

For filters I run OEM but a lot are happy with docs or ecoguard.

I use the Napa full synthetic with the Napa Platinum 47899 oil filter. (47899 is a 3rd gen hemi filter, larger OD, but it fits the 5th gen hemi Ram). Now that Napa has discontinued the Platinum line made by Wix.. I will be moving to Wix XP 57899. In my area, the smaller OD filter was not available so I found this alternative. The Platinum and the XP lines are optimized for synthetic lubricant.

I run Pennzoil with a Doc's Diesel filter, I've been very happy with their products and would 100% recommend them to a friend.

I use Quaker State with either OEM or EcoGuard oil filter. Docs or OEM for the fuel filter.

I started out using Quaker State Euro for my first 3 oil changes and each one I was coming up 3/4 to a quart short in used oil. I switched to Pennzoil for the next one and did not use any oil. The last change I did, none of the stores I shop (I don't have many places to shop at unless I drive over an hour to the big city) at had any MS12991 oil of any brand and I said screw it and went with Rotella T-6. I am getting close to the next change and the level hasn't dropped on the dipstick. I've seen some improvements during this cycle, less def usage and my work commute mpg bumped up by 1.5. I may stay with the T-6 as I didn't get an extended warranty.

I do my changes between 6 and 7K using Docs Deisel filters.

Oem or wix filters for me. I’ve been running mobile 1 high mileage full synthetic in my jeep for years, no issues

Long time Wix fan, have used them with both 440 mopars for years. For the EcoD I stick with the OEM filters and Pennz 5W-40 MS12991 Euro. If I still have the Rebel when my extended warranty expires, I'll switch to Wix.

I’m not sure if the sellers on Amazon are getting really good at copying parts or if these are actually mopar filters being sold as aftermarket filters. Recently purchased 3 off Amazon and this is what I received.

Nah, that's a legit Mopar! (FCA/Stellantis)

At $25 Canadian each quite the deal then. I guess I’ll order a few more from the same seller.
Packaging looks like a knock off. I have never seen an 3.0 oil filter come in that packaging.

Any oil or filter recommended in the owners manual changed at the interval found in the manual will provide a lifetime of protection for your pickup. No reason to overthink it.
