Official Rugged Brown Pearlcoat Thread

You should see it after having it ceramic coated…
That is the big debate right now.

Go with what I've done for all my other vehicles; clay, polish, wax. A little more forgiving for DIY from what I can gather. Or pay for the entire process plus the ceramic.

Depends on how you plan on using the truck. I never used mine as a truck so to me it well worth it when I pulled up for meetings.

Love the Rugged Brown - years ago I had a Kodiak Brown F150 and it had almost identical properties as my Ram. I still haven't run across another one in-person but see a few when I watch Yellowstone!

I found a great deal on a set of rebel takeoffs, so I went for it. It looks so much better than the stock 18's I had on it. Now to add the leveling kit.

Just purchased a loaded 2019 Laramie sport in rbpc. Unique, and with the bumper and grill painted to match and the sport hood it is like 1 of a kind. Lovin it.20220804_165017.jpg20220804_155841.jpg

Thanks! Now to decide what color to use for accent colors for things like stripes or a sport logo on truck bed...hmmmmm?

What she looks like now with bilstein level, new recon grappler 275/65R20 on some polished built to serve rims and 1 1/2" wheel spacers.

How is the noise with the Recons? Big MPG difference?

Very quiet tire. Very.
As far as mpg goes, it is hard to compare since I went up to a 34" tire. It is only a 4ply tire and not the Erated 10ply so ride quality did not suffer which is what I wanted. 60k warranty on tires is great too. I'm heavy on pedal so getting around 14 if I back off a bit. Also have 3.92 gears. Hope this helps. Any time you lift or level and go bigger tire, mpg will take some type of hit, that's just a given. Hope this helps
