A couple weeks ago I noticed that I have a tiny rock chip on the very front of the hood. I want to buy a touch up paint pen to fill it in but the mopar store doesn't have Delmonico Red. Is there another color that is close or do did they have a different name for it in the past?
Also, when transporting wood (pictured above) some of the green plastic wrap melted to my left exhaust tip and has now hardened. Does anyone know how I can remove the now hard plastic from the chrome? It is a fairly thin layer.

klail,

I have along with others received a small touch-up kit (bottle) from Manufacturer or Dealership??? I don't know which one but the box has the Dealerships name on through shipping "EPI Fulfillment". It is MOPAR, says its from Dealership.
I have Delmonico Red too--bottle has number 06102696AB and it says PRV in upper right hand corner of label on pen.

Ya might want to give your Dealership a call and see if they are providing this to you.

EDIT----I included the pics of the kit, it appears it is a gift from dealership (writing on my box is coverd with shipping labels) I received it beginning of March purchased truck end NOV.

EDIT AGAIN---Here is the paint code number info, its from 2018 but you get an idea now what to look for from MOPAR or dealership: https://www.dealers-mopar.com/resources/pdf/moparone/retail/mopar-touch-up-paint-2018.pdf

You may already know how to find things quickly on a webpage(pages docs etc) but just in case---

SEARCH using CTRL key and F key--
-click on link to get to page you want to search
-hit the CTRL key and letter "F" key together
-box pops up in top right hand corner
-enter in what you are looking for "06102696AB "
-it does show up as color that banditsc mentioned

If you click on the up and down arrows in the box in upper right hand corner it will go to next location with that information.

shows up 6 different times on that pdf form with some different names it was used by MOPAR colors that year

That is great! Thank for taking the time to put all of that info together. It was very helpful. I will see if I can buy some at the dealership but if not, I will probably go with the bottle on Amazon.
Thanks again!!

Don’t have exact numbers, the trailer is a toy hauler, so the specifications are a bit misleading, if I loaded with toys I could overload the truck. It pulls fine, gas mileage sucks. Did have to turn off the lane assist, it made it sway a bit

6348 dry weight, max cargo 4617

how did the lane assist make it sway a bit ??
i would think your payload sticker should say something like 1250 # so i guess you can not haul many toys and be legal

The payload is for the trailer, not the truck. The truck can tow 12,000 pounds. If you are careful where you put things, it does not affect the tongue weight much

The lane assist was over correcting and whipping the back end of the trailer. It was easier to turn off the lane correct then putting on the anti sway bar :sneaky:

really ... you really do have a very special trailer ... it is not the lane assist that causes the sway, i would think the WD hitch is not set up right ... as far as towing 12,000 #s i would say NOT with a TT ... maybe a flat bed trailer where you can shift the weight and lessen the tongue weight

I have 15 feet to move the toys around to balance the load. On this trip, I did not fill up the water tank, so that saves 800# and really did not have much in the back, so that probably doesn’t help with the sway

Does anyone have a hard tonneau cover on a Delmonico Red truck? I've been looking but the no one seems to have Delmonico red as a color option.

JUST GOT MINE LAST WEEK
