I picked the Laramie over the limited just because I didn’t like the chrome but seeing this I would of picked the limited!

My first RAM, after toiling away with a Chevy Cobalt and Jeep Patriot for years. Bought it used (2019) on a good COVID-19 deal! Still have some work to do on it but it's getting there

I like the black bumper and front end.

Painted the stock wheels with plastidip. 2 tone, metalisizer over the black on the original chrome inserts. Dipped the chrome black. Installed Ionic side bars.

It’s starting to look a little like my Vermont Edition. ...with different wheels. But I like how your wheels turned-out. Nice job! I still have a set of the original chrome Laramie 20’s with summer tires on them. Maybe I’ll try dipping them like you did. I wonder how long the dip will last on the wheels? 3 or 4 years max I’d guess.

That's about what I figured. It was easy to do. It took about 4 hours, and a lot of that was waiting. I used index cards between the chrome insert and the wheel so I could hit just the insert with the metalisizer. I used 3 cans of black and a 1/2 can of metal over the black for the inserts. I figure it's so easy and cheap I'll just redo it as needed.

After a 1.5" level kit and 35x12.50x20 BF Goodrich All Terrains on 20x9 +1mm Fuel Blitz rims.
