I have the Off-Road package on my truck. It came with 18” rims / 32” tires. Anyone know how large of a tire I could go without having issues? I “think” a 34” would work, which would be perfect IMO.

I put 275/65s on the stock suspension. Another member here put 285/65s on the stock suspension which is 1" lower with no issues. You would be able to get away with a little bit more but don't know how much.

were both those tires put on 18's or 20"s on 20's those alone are 34" high so it would be perfect for troutspinner.

I would like to see what others are putting on their factory 18” wheels.

Sorrry thought I put that. Yes both were on 20" wheels. So you can fit a 34.5" tire.

I just put 305/55/20 on stock suspension, no issues. I like the wide tire look . I have pics up in this section under New Wide Shoes.

Thank you for the info. I want new rims so bad! but the tight-wad in me keeps telling me to wait until I wear these tires down. Lol.

I’d like to go to 20s with the 275/65/R20 like I had on my 14. I was half hoping no one would reply to this thread because now that I know what I want works, I’ll be wanting to spend. Lol.

That's what this addiction is all about! haha

I still have to line up the mud flaps and bed cover. Narrow down the options and it's never a cheap thing either

What did you wind up with? I stuck with the 18” rims and am hoping to put a tall narrow tire on sometime this year (34-35”, 11.5 wide?). I have the off-road package and air suspension (I have the revel links but haven’t put them on yet. This weekend hopefully)

I JUST had this conversation with the dealership's customization shop today. I am awaiting delivery of Big Horn/North Edition/Air Suspension and am wanting to stay on 18s. I am targeting the Fuel Sledge 18x9s with the Nitto Ridge Grapplers. I asked what the biggest size could be that would allow the traversal of all levels, with no rubbing/trimming/cutting and to ensure my calipers would fit.
Sidenote... it seems some members have had issues with some 18" wheels not having the same space as the OEM wheels.
He suggested the same OEM size of 275/65R18 until I told him that I had the NE. He then recommended the 275/70R18 (roughly a 33" tall, 10.8 wide) with an 18x9 0 offset wheel. I'm not saying that a bigger package can't be mounted, but I am deferring to his experience since mine is greatly lacking.

Given the Rebel comes with 33's (IIRC) it doesn't surprise me that's what they'd recommend:)

I know with a different offset wheel you can comfortably run 35's, but I'm leaning towards a 285/75 18 (34.8" x 11.2 in a Cooper Discoverer AT3, which I've had good luck with before even if it doesn't look as aggressive as I might like (quiet, long wear, and good traction in mud and snow are more important than looks at this stage of my life;) ). If I understand things correctly a narrower tire might mean I'd not need the offset folks require when running a 12.5" wide tire. But I haven't confirmed that yet, hence the post!

I went with 295/60/R20s on my Longhorn with ORP...fits great no rubbing! They are basically right at 34” and a little over 11.5 wide

I had some 285/60/20 Toyo Open Country AT's installed yesterday. Longhorn with ORP. New Fuel Wheels with OE offset too. They rub the molded splash guards. I will need to trim them a bit. If you intend to use the same type of splash guard, keep this in mind.

That's very surprising. What offset are you running? Are you sure it is the same as stock? People have been putting 295/60s and 33x12.50 on stock wheels with no rubbing.

They only rub the splash guards. Are you sure that others have the same molded splash guards installed?
