Had a guy with 2022 or 23 interested in purchasing my 2020 oem crew cab running boards. He says when he checked the part number online it says that they will not fit the newer models. Has anyone run into this issue or did the part numbers change? These are the take offs from my truck, Thanks

More than likely is that they haven't updated the parts inventory in the system, highly doubt they changed the design where they mount.

I would sell it to him on the assumption they will fit, if not, offer him his money back should they not fit.

Of course, I would make sure they fit prior to completing the sale. I can’t see them updating running board mounts mid-gen like that. Ill keep the thread updated if thats the case

Sure, you should be able to test fit wherever you are. I don't meet people at my house, I would meet at a local parking lot, bring an old blanket or big towel so I could lay on my back and test fit it on his truck real quick.

Update on this, the 2020 oem running boards fit the 22 with no issue. Still unsure whether or not the part number has changed.

I keep a sheet of this corrugated plastic in the bed of the truck, easy to slide on and off.

No need to buy it, just load up after election day. I have a batch of various sizes. Great for painting, changing the oil and such. Not bad to have in the trunk of the car in case you get a flat or such.
