OEM (Continental) ~$200 on eBay vs non-OEM ~$90 on Amazon Trailer Brake Controllers

Has anyone had issues using the cheap trailer brake controllers that are half the price of the OEM controllers?

Also, the current part number is 82215278AF for the kit. How is it different from 82215278AE?

The letters at the end don't matter.
They change revision numbers for random reasons sometimes, as long as the numbers match it's the correct part.

i went cheap and the controller died two months after installation.....ended up paying more for OEM, but no issues at all.....it is true, you get what you pay for....
