Hi, just ordered a Laramie with the 22" wheel option. Like the look of the wheel but wished the tire a bit more aggressive look and meat on them. Has anyone changes the tires only without going crazy in size? I don't want to have any steering or air suspension issues as well. Please post your pics if anyone had done this mod to their truck. Thanks in advance.

Yes. Some people have put 33s and others 35s. I have 35s. Search around for options.

I just did a ridge grappler in a 305/45/22 which comes out to me 32.86x12 (which the same tire in the LT 33” is 32.78x12.5). I’ve had LT tires before and they are just so heavy and stiff, really make for a tough ride if you’re really being honest with yourself lol. I plan to do a 2” lift.

That looks great! How does it ride with those? Expensive?

A little louder, but the ride is no different than the Goodyears, these are only 45 lbs compared to the stocks which are 43 so no crazy weight difference like a 70lb LT either. They were about 1600, but i had a credit for 850 at discount tire and sold my stocks for 600 to an Escalade guy (they are stock sizes for Chevy, Ford, GMC and Lincoln. Should have no problem selling them. I sold mine in 5 hours on FB.

That's stock suspension, no air either?

Would air suspension matter?

Yes, you can set it to 1" or 2" over "ride height" or load height which makes it 2" lower than ride height.

I see, so on the low setting, tires may rub?

I doubt it, you can't drive in the loading setting, and aero (highway) setting is only 10mm lower than normal.

I think he was asking for picture reference sake. Like if that was just stock height or if i had air, and if i did what setting was the picture taken at.

Sort of.
Mainly for clearance on a non air truck. I've been eyeing some 305/45's but don't have plans to level.

Gotcha, no issues here on a stock suspension setup. I'd go for it.

If anyone is looking for a set of 305/45/22 Ridge Grapplers and close to Orlando, i have two on them with 200 miles on them. Discount tire did me a solid and let me return TWO of them. They rode great, and were pretty quiet.

I went with a 20" setup after doing the mopar lift. I wanted a 34" tire without getting into an LT and the only tire that let me come close was a 305/55/20.

I will do them both for 650, which is about 150 off new price. Can deliver someplace in FL.

Post some pics of the truck with new setup!

So no rubbing with the 305/45/22 on the air-ride suspension?
