Not just the 5.7, all hemi variants are coming back...

Thats great news. Uhh, my checkbook will disagree but maybe in 26 or 27’ I will be back in a truck. 🤔💰
Just drove the Buick to Myrtle Beach for a few days. Roads were full of pickups.
Police too, and its during the week. SC had at least. 4 radar traps and numerous plain chase cars on the highway. My Buick, even though it has a 170 mph analog speedometer, wasn’t even noticed. 🤣

I can only imagine the used truck market prices for the Hurricane motor in a year or two..once/IF Hemi motors are back in 1500s.
I haven’t read anything if they’re still gonna produce the Hurricane and offer them in trucks as well as a Hemi…but I guess it’s all speculation at this point. Interesting times…
I won’t be in the new truck market until 2030…roughly. So plenty of time to let this marinate.

With the investment in the Hurricane, they will very likely keep it. Ford has both motors as well, they recognize that the V8 has too many adherents to drop it. GM now has the little turbo 4 plus their V8’s so its just Toyota and RAM. (I figure Nissan is out of the full sized truck game.)

If the 392 is offered in the 1500 i would be really considering buying a new truck even though i dont buy a new truck but every 20years and i only have 6500 miles on my 22 lol
