Hi all, Just picked up my new 2023 Laramie- my 2nd 5th gen . I had a 2019 Big horn . Ordered this one in Sept, with off road , Ram boxes , level 1 pkg. My 2019 had the chrome factory running boards, that were functional but hated the way the hung so low , leaving the gap between the rocker panels and the step. Looking for recommendations for fixed running boards that sit up more snug. I didn’t get the pwr ones because it required adding too many pkg’s or deleting items I wanted . I’m leasing so don’t want to throw $1400 and up , running boards to give back to the leasing company. Seems like there’s plenty of options , so looking for recommendations, reviews , pics if you have them!! Thanks , Gary

These were on my 20 Laramie that I totaled. When you looked at them up close, the stainless was not polished and perfect, but looked great at 10 feet. Very easy to install. Wider than factory bars, making easier entry. Not the best the truck ever looked. That's $40,000 damage. The Honda went under me, sending a 6,000 lb truck into the air, turning me sideways.
Those look EXACTLY like the black ones I had on my Silverado (OEM). They worked great.

I'm on the fence right now. I'm just worried about reduced ground clearance by adding running boards. My Big Horn stays with factory settings. I replaced the factory tires with Falken AT3W in the same factory size, so my ground clearance isn't that much. Once the skid plates are on, the ground clearance gets even worse.
